An intensive care unit (I.C.U), also known as an intensive therapy unit or intensive treatment unit (I.T.U) or critical care unit (CCU), is a special department of a hospital or health care facility that provides intensive care medicine.

Intensive care units cater to patients with severe or life-threatening illnesses and injuries, which require constant care, close supervision from life support equipment and medication to ensure normal bodily functions.

At S.C.C.H,  we are equipped with a total of 12 I.C.U beds with advanced ventilators, high-resolution multi-parameter patient monitors, ABG machine, ECG machine for continuous monitoring of patients.
